It was a busy weekend of dance this past weekend! Congratulations to Oakette 2nd Lt. Sarah S. and OH Junior Ashley S. who represented our teams at the Creative Dance Productions solo pageant in Columbus. We are proud of you both!

Three of our teams competed at the Ameridance competition at Mount St. Joseph on 1/29, hosted by Mystical Illusion. It was a great day of dance with lots of amazing talent! Results are as follows:

Congratulations to the Oak Hills soloists that competed at the 2011 Creative Dance Productions solo pageant in Columbus on January 28th and 29th. Ally, Ashley, Cara, Kelsey, Rachel and Sarah did a great job! Congratulations to Oakette 2nd Lt. Ally for making semi-finals, to Cara (senior division) and Ashley (junior division) for receiving the "Production" award and to Rachel for receiving a CDP camp scholarship! We were also proud to see Captain Erin perform for the last time as 2010 Miss Dance Power! Thanks to all the parents, friends and fans that travelled to Columbus to give their support for a fun weekend.

Congratulations to the following Oakettes that attended UDA camp 7/19-7/22 at CoCo Key Water Resort in Sharonville: Erin, Kelsey W., Ally, Jenna, Lauren, Randi, Alexa, Emily Go., Chrissy, Sarah F., Olivia, Miranda, Ashley, Rachel C., Rachel H., Mary, Kelsey D., and Hayley. All 18 girls received blue ribbons (highest rating) in all routines! Another special congratulations to Erin, Kelsey W. and Ally, who auditioned for and were chosen as UDA All-American dancers. Finally, congratulations to Erin, Ally & Randi, who were selected to audition for UDA staff! It was a great kick-off to the year, and everyone had a blast! Looking forward to the year ahead :)

Oakette tryouts will be held 4/26, 4/27 and 4/29 at Oak Hills High School.
All incoming 10th-12th grade girls are eligible to audition. Try-out packets with additional information can be picked up from the main office at Oak Hills.

Oak Hills Juniors tryouts will be held on 4/29, 4/30 and 5/1. Additional information and tryout packets can be picked up in the front office at Bridgetown, Delhi or Rapid Run Middle School. You must be an incoming 7th, 8th or 9th grader to be eligible.
